As this season's third edition of the Hudson River Derby approaches, we take a look back at two NYCFC fans who were given a unique opportunity to experience the last Derby day.
Thanks to the Etihad Bring the City On Board campaign, fans could nominate a friend on Twitter who they thought should be at the Derby. Etihad made stops around the five boroughs to deliver NYCFC gear and tickets to a few lucky fans, but two winners got the experience of a lifetime—courtesy of none other than Andrea Pirlo.
