New York City FC midfielder Frank Lampard has been nominated for the Etihad Airways Major League Soccer Player of the Month.
In the month of July, Lampard scored six goals and registered one assist as NYCFC went 6-2-0 over the course of play. This month also saw Lampard record the first hat trick in NYCFC history during the team’s July 30th match against the Colorado Rapids.
