For David Villa, New York City FC milestones are nothing new.
The Club’s first signing, first captain, first home goalscorer and first MLS MVP broke ground once again on Pride Day in the Bronx.
However, typical of the man, he relegated individual achievements beneath the success of the collective after he fired his team to a 2-1 win over Seattle Sounders with his 50th and 51st goals.
The 35-year old earned a standing ovation after netting both second half strikes which gave his side a second comeback victory in as many games at Yankee Stadium.
