After Saturday, NYCFC will have faced the only two teams ahead of them in the Supporters' Shield race. Despite the quick turnaround between matches and the prospect of a challenging matchup ahead, Patrick Vieira knows his men are up to the task.
"Of course, it's going to be another tough game for us on Saturday," acknowledges Vieira, "But it will be difficult for them as well, because we are mentally prepared, we are physically ready, and those games are the types of games you would want to play every weekend."
Present in Vieira's comments is the mentality one needs to have if they'd like to fancy themselves a contender in a league like MLS.
