Though he has been pretty streaky (both hot and cold) over the course of the 2019 season, New York City FC forward Taty Castellanos has become one the club’s most improved players. Following a 2018 season that was marred in mediocrity, Castellanos has asserted himself this year, scoring 12 goals and logging 5 assists in 29 games.
Though often seen as an understudy to fellow emerging star Héber, Castellanos has done quite nicely for himself as is one of three NYCFC players to have a double digit goalscoring tally.
And apparently, the Argentine Football Association has taken notice.
