With Yangel Herrera away at the U-20 World Cup and Andrea Pirlo suffering an injury against Real Salt Lake on the midweek, Lopez had the chance he’s been waiting one full year for and he made the most of it in a 3-0 win over Orlando City Sunday night.
In his first start since last May 21, Lopez put forth a massive 90-minute effort.
