Earlier today, the USMNT announced their final 23-man roster for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup. Among the names listed on it is New York City FC goalkeeper Sean Johnson.
The 30-year-old netminder has made 7 total appearances for the Stars & Stripes since his international debut in 2011. Johnson made his first-ever start for the States in the 2013 Gold Cup, in which he logged a 1-0 clean sheet against Costa Rica.
Current coach Gregg Berhalter seems to have a penchant for selecting MLS players to his roster, meaning there is a chance that we could see SeanJohn in net for national team.
