New York City FC defender Ronald Matarrita has been called up to play for the Costa Rican Men’s National Team
Matarrita looks to compete in two World Cup Qualifying matches against Jamaica on March 25 at 8pm ET and March 29 at 10pm ET. The defender last played for Costa Rica on Nov. 17 in a 2-1 win against Panama.
Matarrita has started and played three matches for NYCFC this season.
