In a seemingly never-ending stream of reports and rumors, the plot continues to thicken.
While conjecture and/or theories often abound among fans in forums and on subreddits, it hasn’t been often where there is actual news to report on the subject of New York City FC building a stadium within the confines of New York City’s five boroughs. At least, not since the genesis of the club back in 2014 and 2015.
This year, however, has been completely different. Since March, there have been three major developments.
The first came on March 9, where Claudio Reyna told SBI that the team was “close” to procuring a stadium site.
