This year, it finally feels like New York City FC has kicked away the road woes that had followed them over the last few seasons. The team has a current away record of 6-5-5, which was unimaginable earlier in the 2025 campaign. The team won on the road in April against Toronto FC, but continued to struggle. At least, that was the case until July, when they beat Orlando City SC away from home. After, they picked up four more wins to reach the six total.
Now, with one more road match to play, NYCFC will seek that seventh win away from home when they face the Philadelphia Union.
