Sunday night was huge win to say the least for New York City FC. With six points grabbed in back to back wins, they’ve spring boarded to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The win against D.C. United sets a good tone as the club will stay on the road heading further west to take on reigning MLS champions, the Portland Timbers next week.
I truly believe that this win has the potential to show that the club is turning a corner. Being an expansion club is hard, being an expansion club in New York with your second coach in two years is harder. |
