Decision Day lived up to its name. The results from the MLS Eastern Conference are in, and New York City FC will face Inter Miami FC at Red Bull Arena in the First Round of the MLS Cup Playoffs. The game day and time are still to be determined, but it will be played on October 15, 16, or 17.
Inter Miami, FC Cincinnati, Orlando City, and Columbus Crew were all in contention to face NYCFC, which held on to their No 3 seed with a 1-2 away win against Atlanta United.
