New York City FC are going to Arizona…
The team will take part in the Desert Diamond Cup for 2017 MLS Preseason in Tucson, the League’s premier preseason tournament.
It will be NYCFC’s first appearance in the friendly competition which has been in operation since 2011.
Patrick Vieira’s side have been paired with Houston Dynamo in the 18:00 kick-off (MST) on Saturday 18 February for the chance to advance to the final the following week.
New England Revolution, Colorado Rapids, New York Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City make up the roster for the competition which will take place at Tucson’s Kino Sports Complex.
