NYCFC to build stadium in The Bronx?

It looks like New York City FC are back to where they were in 2013 when it comes to trying to find a site for a new stadium.

The New York Times is reporting that NYCFC is once again looking to build their own stadium near Yankee Stadium. It would be constructed on a 20-acre lot that stretches along East 153rd Street and River Avenue, right between Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Terminal Market.

Here are some more details from The Times:

The development project would be led by a partnership of Jorge Madruga of Maddd Equities and Eli Weiss of Joy Construction, which would lease the land for the stadium to the team and build the housing, the park and the hotel.
