Two years ago today marks what is still perhaps the wildest game in NYCFC history.
The club had entered the height of their first-ever summer, continuing to grow into their identity and embracing a philosophy of ambitious, flowing football. As pieces of the puzzle were being fit into place, the core ideas around which they were based slowly became more and more apparent in form.
