Domenec Torrent’s first two New York City FC signings came from around the world. His latest comes from around the corner.
NYCFC announced they have signed Queens midfielder Danny Bedoya following a successful trial from Premier Development League affiliate Long Island Rough Riders.
Bedoya, 24, had caught he eyes of Torrent and NYCFC after a midweek scrimmage between NYCFC and the Rough Riders on July 19, when he scored the lone goal for the Rough Riders in a 3-1 loss.
“He has a special quality to play in between the lines,” Torrent said in a press release.
