Alex Ring had interest from abroad, but it never really mattered. He and his family are happy in New York City, where he quickly established himself as MLS’ best defensive midfielder.
“Everything is clicking,” Ring told The Post. “When you find out that everything is good, you should appreciate it and try to make the best of it.”
The same could be said about Sean Johnson, who knows how much he’s grown as a goalkeeper in two seasons at New York City FC.
