NYCFC Fail to Overcome New England Revolution

If there’s one word that explains New York City FC in the past two weeks, it’s frustrating. For the third straight match, Patrick Vieira and his boys struggled to finish. In their fourth game of the season and a man advantage, NYCFC couldn’t grab the full three points in a 1-1 draw against the New England Revolution.

While scoring a goal is always the turning point, in this match, it was the Revolution’s red card. In the 51st minute, after catching Thomas McNamara‘s foot, Gershon Koffie was issued a straight red and basically put the ball in NYCFC’s hands.
