With the SuperDraft looming, what exactly does New York City FC need?
A strong offseason with additions on offense and defense has arguably placed NYCFC at the top of MLS’ best offseason discussion but as the past has shown, the team does, in fact, take the draft serious and use its players in the squad.
NYCFC Sporting Director Claudio Reyna wouldn’t exactly reveal the team’s plans for Friday’s SuperDraft, however, he told MLSSoccer.com that NYCFC would be more inclined to target a midfield or defensive player since offseason transfers like Designated Player signing Jesus Medina and Ismael Tajouri added more artillery on the offense side.
