It's a bit of a bothersome trend: New York City FC trots out onto the field, absolutely dominates possession of the ball and the general flow of the game, fires of a ton of shots, and doesn't win the game. Then, the head coach reassures restless fans and skeptical media that he's pleased by his team's performance.
But really, two goals and zero wins in the last three games, all at home, speaks for itself. Needless to say it doesn't instill much confidence around the Five Boroughs.
