Steven Mendoza came to New York City FC looking to score goals, looking to help his new team win.
The forward on loan from Corinthians did both in dramatic fashion Saturday afternoon. Mendoza’s first career MLS goal was also the game winner in a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps at Yankee Stadium.
