Fresh off the eMLS announcement, New York City FC announced today that the Club will be hosting a FIFA 18 tournament giving fans a chance to take on NYCFC’s professional eSports player, Chris Holly. The tournament will take place at Upper 90 on Saturday, February 24 at 3:00 p.m.
Last year, the Club made Major League Soccer history by becoming the first MLS team to sign an eSports player, Chris Holly, for PlayStation 4. Six months later, the Club added to its eSports roster with the signing of a second player, Joey Calabro, for Xbox One.
