Major League Soccer on Monday released the ballots featuring the candidates eligible for each of the league's year-end awards, including the Landon Donovan MVP and NYCFC had ten nominations across the categories.
Maxi Moralez and David Villa are both up for the MVP award, Sean Johnson is nominated for Goalkeeper of the Year, Alexander Callens and Anton Tinnerholm are in the defensive category, Domènec Torrent is in the Coach of the Year reckoning, Jesus Medina and Isi Tajouri-Shradi are up for Newcomer of the Year, Ronald Matarrita is in for Comeback Player of 2018 and Johnson has a second nomination for MLS WORKS Humanitarian of the Year
Players, media and technical staff will vote for each category, with each group representing a third of the vote.
