There are not too many free agents for New York City FC at this time. Some players might leave via trade or transfer, but at this time, there have only been a few changes to the roster. One free agent who could possibly call an end to his career is Maxi Moralez. The fan favorite is 38 and will be turning 39 in February. But, he should play one more year, again.
Yes, the argument was made that Moralez should return for one more year for the 2025 season. And, he did, signing that one-year contract in January.
