According to Blue City Radio, New York City FC manager Domé Torrent has ruled both Maxi Moralez and Jo Inge Berget ineligible for Sunday’s match with D.C. United.
While Torrent reportedly confirmed that it was for an injury, he would specify what injuries the two key players sustained.
Obviously, Maxi is vitally important to NYCFC’s midfield and attack. And though Berget has been largely hot and cold all season, a player of his unique physical skill set could be handy against a red-hot DCU side that is fresh off a 1-0 victory over Toronto FC on Wednesday.
