A limited-edition adidas Ultraboost x COPA shoe with New York City FC colors and details will be released tomorrow, September 12, at 11 am ET at the NYCFC online shop. The shoes will only be sold online — no need to line up at the adidas mothership on Fifth Ave.
The shoe looks to be a hybrid of a COPA leather upper and an Ultraboost running sole. According to an official statement, it’s “the iconic Copa cleat in an off-field form.” Cool, cool. That COPA upper is rendered in NYCFC’s distinctive celeste, while the sole in New York City orange.
