Here is what I thought about New York City FC’s home-opening victory against the LA Galaxy:

1st Half

• Galaxy defending well. We need to soften up that backline
• ANTON TINNERHOLM!!! What a first goal. 1-0 NYC
• David Villa definitely drinks some of Michael Jordan’s ‘Secret Stuff’ before these home openers.
