James Sands called up to the USMNT, Alexander Callens back training in New York after injury

New York City FC Homegrown James Sands was called up to the USMNT by manager Gregg Berhalter to fortify a team depleted after Miles Robinson (red card) and Weston McKennie (yellow card accumulation) were dropped from the squad for the game against Jamaica on November 16.

This is the second time the 21-year-old sands was called up to the USMNT senior team.

NYCFC center-back Alexander Callens suffered a muscle injury playing for Peru during la Blanquirroja’s 3-0 win over Bolivia on November 11. He’s now back in New York, and posted Stories to his Instagram account that show him training at the Etihad City Football Academy in Orangeburg.
