It’s that time of year again and four New York City FC players have been called up for senior National Team duty.
Alexander Callens, Sean Johnson, Ronald Matarrita, and Maxime Chanot are the latest to receive the call to represent their respective nations.

Alexander Callens reported to the Peruvian National Team earlier this year as the team made a run for the Copa America title. The team made it all the way to the finals but fell to Brazil, 3-1, and were crowned the runners-up.
Callens’ continues his international career with Peru as they take on Ecuador and Brazil in a pair of friendlies.
