When Héber went down with an apparent knee injury against Toronto FC on Wednesday, we all knew it was bad. The Brazilian striker’s signature smile was gone, replaced with the expression of excruciating pain and somberness. Once the cart was needed to get Héber, we all knew that bad news was coming but hoped for the best.
For days, New York City FC fans waited with baited breath for an official update on the striker’s condition. Today, NYCFC finally delivered the news. And it’s not good.
