Before the season began, NJ/NY Gotham FC and Seattle Reign FC had a shocking trade between the teams. Lynn Biyendolo and Cassie Miller were traded to the Reign while Jaelin Howell came to the Bats. It was unexpected that Biyendolo would leave, so the shock from the trade shook the fans of the club. However, in some ways it has worked out, for Howell has been having a brilliant season thus far. Hopefully, she will help the Bats come out on top when the two sides meet this weekend.
