NJ/NY Gotham FC will return home after a solid trip out west. The team beat San Diego Wave FC in the NWSL and Vancouver Rise FC Academy in the CONCACAF W Champions Cup game. Then, they shared the points with Bay FC, which was somewhat disappointing, but it was still a point on the road.
Now, the Bats will welcome Portland Thorns FC to Sports Illustrated Stadium in what will be a tough and challenging matchup. They swept the Thorns in 2024 and won two of three meetings in 2023. But this year, they lost awfully in the City of Roses, losing 4-1.
