NJ/NY Gotham FC has had a good time on the West Coast so far. They won against San Diego Wave FC in San Diego for the first time. Then, they beat Vancouver Rise FC Academy in the CONCACAF W Champions Cup. Now, the Bats have an opportunity to go three for three out west with a match against Bay FC.
Thus far, Gotham FC has won all three games played against the newer team. The California side joined the NWSL last year and had a decent first season, finishing seventh in the standings. But this year, the team has struggled immensely.
