The magic and the excitement of NJ/NY Gotham FC's 2025 NWSL Championship continued on Monday as the team celebrated their big win. The Cinderella run was even more impressive compared to the 2023 NWSL Championship, since the point difference between the Bats and the NWSL Shield winners, the Kansas City Current, was higher. They then had two more upsets after that quarterfinal win to lift the NWSL trophy.
So, what did the Bats do to celebrate? They had a small procession down to City Hall, and then celebrated with the fans outside the building.
