Dome, Héber & Johnson Shortlisted for MLS Year End Awards

NEW YORK (Monday, Oct. 14, 2019) – Major League Soccer today announced the finalists for the 2019 year-end awards honoring the league’s top performers during the MLS regular season.

Three stand out performers from New York City's Football Club have been nominated: Sean Johnson for Goalkeeper of the Year, Héber for Newcomer of the Year, and Doménec Torrent for Coach of the Year.

This year’s race for the 2019 Landon Donovan MLS MVP Award features the strongest attacking trio of the MLS season. LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimoviu0107, Atlanta United forward Josef Martínez and Los Angeles Football Club striker Carlos Vela are again vying for the honor after all three were named finalists last season.
