The NYCFC Defensive Midfielder has been traded to Vancouver in exchange for Targeted Allocation Money.
The club has announced today that they've traded Midfielder Andrew Jacobson to the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for Targeted Allocation Money, or TAM.
Jacobson was a Starting XI regular last year, featuring prominently as the team's go to defensive midfielder for much of the year. This year, however, things have changed. With new head coach Patrick Vieira also came a new formation and new style of play. His high press attacking philosophy called for different a skill set from his midfielders, and as such players McNamara and Mix have become stands out in his eyes.
