Andrea Pirlo has thrown cold water on a possible move back to Serie A, saying, apart from friends and family, he doesn't miss Italy.
The former AC Milan and Juventus midfielder left for Major League Soccer's New York City FC in the summer after helping the Bianconeri to a Scudetto title and a place in the Champions League final last season.
The longtime Italian international has spent nearly his entire career playing in his home country, however Pirlo says a move back is not in the cards.
"I enjoyed some extraordinary years at Juventus and achieved great success at Milan, but I will not return to Serie A," Pirlo told Corriere della Sera on Thursday, before adding that he has received inquiries for his services.
