Alexis Bedolla walks through the halls of Castle Hill Middle School like it is home to him. He knows everyone by first and last name and everyone acknowledges him. Faculty, students, police officers and volunteers. I mean, everyone. Most but not all of the conversations are about soccer practice and the upcoming season and classes. He is obviously a very well-liked person around here.
The 22-year-old Bronx resident of Mexican descent, who everyone calls Alex, has been around Castle Hill Middle School for 19 years.
