When New York City FC fans knew that they would be without some of their starters against the Philadelphia Union, some probably did not think they would still be in the MLS Cup Playoffs. But the Pigeons are still fighting after the 1-0 win over the weekend.
Regardless of the result, the 2025 season has been a good one. The Boys in Blue won matches nobody thought they would win. Sure, there were a few losses and draws that should have never seen them drop points. But in the end, there is a lot that was great.
