New York City FC’s record breaking season continues with the first-ever qualification for the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League.
The tournament consists of 16 teams and NYCFC is one of the first 15 to qualify, while the final spot is reserved for the MLS Cup Champions.
Thus far the competition includes: Montreal Impact (CAN), AD San Carlos (CRC), Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), Alianza FC (SLV), Comunicaciones FC (GUA), CD Olimpia (HON), FC Motagua (HON), Portmore United FC (JAM), Club America (MEX), Club Leon (MEX), Cruz Azul FC (MEX), Tigres UANL (MEX), Atlanta United FC (USA), and Los Angeles FC (USA).
