Whether he’s palling around a Mardi Gras float with FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer, challenging musician Kenny Chesney to catch a punt after practice, or inviting pro golfers Jordan Spieth and Ryan Palmer into the team’s draft room, Payton isn’t shy about bringing his friends into the fold.
One new addition to his social circle is actor Zac Efron, who met Payton through unconventional circumstances. Efron told the story of their awkward introduction during an appearance on the “Pardon My Take” podcast (warning: it includes some coarse language).
