Jaylon Ferguson is the all-time leader in NCAA history in sacks with 45. Understandably, that has him sitting rather high on the draft boards of 32 teams in the NFL as they prepare for the 2019 NFL Draft. He broke the long-standing record of 44 sacks previously held, since 2002 by current Arizona Cardinal Terrell Suggs.
Not suggesting that Ferguson is the next Suggs, but he’s got the traits, the athletic ability, the motor and intensity. But Suggs is rare air. Going into his 17th season as a pro and, for the first time, not doing it in Baltimore where he was drafted 10th overall in the 2003 NFL Draft.
