The dust settled on the 2019 NFL trade deadline without much happening. The biggest trades happened well ahead of the deadline, and while there were a few prime candidates available, one of the more intriguing trade deadlines in recent memory went away quietly. There is still plenty to discuss, so we got together with a few editors from the NFL Wire Network to ask them a few questions.
Winners
With the deadline being a bust, I think the Dolphins were winners at the end. They effectively get a 5th-round pick immediately to eat Aqib Talib’s salary for half of a season.
