The biggest issues facing the Saints at the end of the 2018 Season were tight end, starting center, wide receiver, additional depth on the offensive line, defensive line, actually there were quite a few spots that needed some patching. Through free agency and the 2019 NFL Draft, most of what needed to be taken care of has been. And the 2019 version of the New Orleans Saints may be the best the franchise has ever put on the field.
The spots that remain a little weak don’t seem to be far enough off to cause tremendous concern. The exception there would have to be with the defensive secondary which we’ll get to.
