One of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees’ favorite traditions is alive and well. Brees is known for his strict routine, which usually means maintaining a tight diet and training regimen. However, it also means having some fun from time to time — such as hyping up his teammates in a huddle before every Saints game.
Brees did just that in the final minutes before kickoff against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, circling his fellow Saints players around him before delivering a speech.
“Man I’m playing for you brother,” Brees shouted, pointing at teammates like wide receiver Michael Thomas and running back Alvin Kamara.
