The New Orleans Saints held their annual Black and Gold charity softball game Wednesday at Tulane's Turchin Stadium with proceeds benefitting Son of a Saint and Team Gleason.
"They're a part of our family, the Saints family, and have been for a long, long time ... so that's obviously extremely important and that's why we're here," Brees said of the charities. "But also the camaraderie amongst the team, the competitiveness, the kind of back and forth, offense vs. defense, that's fun, too."
The defense beat the offense in the game, 22-21, with Cameron Jordan driving in the game-winning run.
