It came down to a last-second field goal, but the fact remains that the New Orleans Saints took down the Carolina Panthers for the second time in 2025. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough was a major contributor to the Black and Gold's second straight win.
It started out slow, with the Saints punting on their only two drives of the first quarter. However, the story started to change once the second quarter began. Shough completed all but one of his passes for 63 yards on the team's first drive of the second quarter, leading the team down to the red zone.
