It almost goes without saying that Tracy Porter is remembered well by fans of the New Orleans Saints. The hero of Super Bowl XLIV came through in the biggest moment of his career, intercepting Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning to outrace everyone to the end zone, and from there to Saints lore. Porter spoke with Dan Pompei of Bleacher Report to relive his Super Bowl experience.
“We landed [in Miami] on Monday, and on Tuesday, the entire secondary watched film together,” Porter explained. “We were a close-knit group, and we wanted to put in the extra work because we knew what we were up against, going up against one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game.
