On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints barely avoided suffering the worst loss in franchise history in the 44-13 Seattle Seahawks beatdown. Once again, penalties were a major issue for the Saints.

The black and gold committed 11 penalties for a total of 77 yards given up. It is a continuation of the unfortunate trend for the Saints this season that has them committing the most penalties in the league, tied only with the Tennessee Titans. So far, through the first three weeks of the 2025 season, the Saints have been called for 31 penalties, giving up a total of 211 yards.
