There are writers out there who I, as a writer or a fan, frequently disagree with. ESPN’s Mike Triplett isn’t one of them. He’s the beat writer on the Saints for that network and he’s one of the best in the business. Hands down. But he put out a piece today talking about the Saints and their ability to address a quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft that I’m going to rebut.
The premise of the piece is that the he ranks quarterback as the 8th most important position in need of some help in this draft.
